Hunterdon Radon Mitigation is a trade name of Swell Ventures LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we give it to.
What we collect
What you type into our forms: your name, phone number, email address, property address, your water supply, any radon reading you give us, a description of the situation, and any documents you send. Basic technical information your browser sends, such as IP address and pages visited.
Why we collect it
To pass your request to certified radon businesses that may be able to help, to follow up with you about it, and to run and improve the service.
Who we share it with
This is the important part. When you submit a request, we share it with a certified radon business that covers your area. That includes your contact details, your property address, and any reading you gave us — they cannot help you otherwise. That business is a separate company. Once they have your information, their own privacy practices apply to what they do with it, not ours. If that business cannot help and you ask us to try another, we pass the same details on again.
We also use service providers to run the site, send messages, and process contractor payments. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
Radon readings specifically
A radon result is information about your property. We treat it the same way as the rest of your request: it goes to the businesses we refer you to so they can quote sensibly, and nowhere else. We never publish a reading for any identifiable property, on this site or anywhere else, and nothing on this site names a street or an address as having a particular level.
Text messages
If you consent, we and the contractors we refer you to may text you about your request, including through automated systems. Consent is never a condition of anything. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep request records while they may still be useful to you or to us, and as long as required for our records. You can ask us to delete yours.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent to be contacted. Ask through the contact route on this site. Note that we cannot retrieve information already passed to a contractor — you would need to ask them.
Children
This service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top.
