People with a number they don't like, sent straight to your crew.
We rank and run this site so property owners across Hunterdon County find it and ask for help — a test result over the action level, a fan that has stopped, a farmhouse with an open cellar, a well that came back hot on gross alpha. Every request lands with a certified crew, full contact details attached, ready to call. You start with a free proving run — real leads, no charge — and if the site earns it, you rent it outright.
No membership dues. No bidding for placement. No cut of your jobs. Whatever you quote and collect is 100% yours.
Why this county
25 of 26 towns here are Tier 1. That is the whole business case.
Hunterdon County sits across the Reading Prong, the Newark Basin and the Sourland diabase, and NJDEP classifies 25 of its 26 municipalities as Tier 1 — the highest radon potential category, meaning a quarter or more of the test results the state holds for that town came back at or above the action level. In several of them it is nearly half. Add a housing stock that runs from 18th century open-cellar stone farmhouses to finished post-war basements, and a rural population drawing water from the same fractured rock, and you have a market where demand does not depend on us persuading anybody that radon matters. It depends on them getting a number.
Step 01
We run the site and collect the requests
We do the ranking and the content. Owners across 32 towns describe what they've got — a result above 4.0 pCi/L, an inspection finding with a closing date, a system that didn't work, a well-water result — and those requests come in through this site.
Step 02
Certified crews get the leads
Once we've confirmed your NJDEP certification, insurance and coverage area, matching jobs come to you with the name, address, foundation type, reading and description in the owner's own words — ready to call, nothing to unlock.
Step 03
You quote it and keep all of it
The customer is yours to win. We make the introduction and step back — we never take a percentage of the estimate, the invoice, or the collected job.
How working with us actually goes
You prove it on our money first. Then you rent it.
There is one model here, in two phases, and no per-lead pricing to weigh up. First we send you real leads at no charge so you can see what this county actually produces. If the work is there, you rent the site — one flat monthly rate, every lead yours alone. If it is not there, you have lost nothing but the calls you chose to make.
Phase 01 — where everyone starts
The proving run — free
In one line: for 30 days, every matching lead comes to you at no cost, with nothing to claim and nothing to pay.
What the run is
| Leads included | up to 10 |
| Roughly | 30 days |
| What you pay | $0 |
| What you sign | nothing |
| Those leads bought anywhere else | $450 |
The run ends when you have had 10 leads, not on a date — 30 days in a quiet month would prove nothing, and in a busy one it would give away far more than it needed to. We hold it open no longer than 90 days either way, so it stays a trial rather than an indefinite supply of free work.
You keep every job you win during the run. We take no fee, no percentage and no share of anything you invoice in that window. The point is to find out what the site is worth to you, and that only works if the answer is real money in your account.
Phase 02 — if the run earns it
You rent the site
In one line: we have already done the hard part — this site ranks for this work in this county. You rent it for one flat monthly rate and from that moment every lead it produces goes to you and nobody else. Cancel any month.
Example — a busy month on the same site
| The site produces 40 requests all 40 route to you automatically | — |
| You quote them and win 14 14 × ~$1,625 | +$22,747 |
| Against one flat monthly rate | — |
Those same 40 leads bought one at a time elsewhere would run $1,800 — and you would be racing another crew on some of them. The rent is set below that, or there would be no reason to take it, and past that point your cost stops climbing however busy the season gets.
We do not publish the rate, and that is in your favour. It is agreed at the end of your free run against what this site actually produced for you — the jobs it sent, what they were worth, and the calls it earned. A number posted before any of that is known is a number pulled out of the air, and you would be the one arguing it down.
Why we do it this way round
- You should not pay to find out. Every lead seller in this trade asks you to buy first and judge afterwards. We would rather hand you 10 leads for nothing and let the work make the argument.
- One crew, not a race. We do not sell the same homeowner to four businesses. Once you rent, you are the only radon crew this site refers anywhere in Hunterdon County — no bidding, no dialling first, no being undercut on a lead you already paid for.
- The rate is set from evidence. Because it is quoted after your run, it is priced against leads this site actually delivered to you, not a forecast. If the run does not produce, there is nothing to quote and we will say so.
Month to month once you start. No setup fee, no minimum term, no penalty for stopping — just tell us.
The rental example above uses a common job size and a typical monthly volume, shown so the arithmetic is easy to follow. Your monthly rate is quoted for your service area at the end of your free run, against what the site actually produced.
The whole process, start to finish
Exactly what happens after you apply.
No mystery steps and no surprise bills. Most crews are taking their first job within a couple of days.

You send the form
You · 1 minThe short form at the bottom of this page — your towns, the work you do, and your NJDEP certification numbers. Nothing to pay and nothing to sign.
-
We get back to you
Us · usually within a dayA short conversation about your service area, the towns you cover and what you are certified for — so the leads we send you during the run are ones you would actually take.
-
You finish setup from a link we send
You · 2 minBusiness details, certificate of insurance, and your NJDEP radon certification — mitigation, measurement, or both. A photo or a PDF upload; nothing to print.
-
We verify and switch you on
Us · usually same dayWe confirm your certification on the NJDEP register against what we publish to homeowners, and you go live. Measurement and mitigation are checked separately, and you are only matched to work you are certified for. This check is exactly why homeowners trust the referral, so we do not skip it.
-
Your free run starts
Us · 30 daysDuring the runEvery matching lead is emailed to you the moment it lands — the reading if there is one, the foundation type, the town, the timing, and the owner's name, phone and address. Nothing to claim, nothing to unlock, nothing to pay. Up to 10 of them.
At the end of itWe go through what the site actually sent you and what it was worth. If it earned its keep, you e-sign a one-page month-to-month agreement at a rate quoted against those results, and every lead keeps coming — to you alone, into your own private lead bank.
-
You quote it, you do the work, you keep all of it
YouYou set your own price and invoice directly. We never take a percentage of the estimate, the invoice or the collected job, and we never touch the customer relationship. All we ask is that you call them quickly.
Why crews do better here
What a national matching app does not give you.
If you have bought leads from the big directories and matching apps, you know how it goes — the same name sold to four crews, a race to dial first, a fee just to appear. A focused local site is a different deal, on either model.
Local intent, not a national pool
These are people in Hunterdon County who searched for radon help and asked for a quote — not a name resold out of a giant national database.
No paying to outrank rivals
You do not bid against other crews for placement or buy your way up a list. We handle the ranking; you handle the work.
No membership just to be listed
There is no annual fee or subscription simply to appear. You pay for leads — or one flat rate for all of them — and nothing else.
You keep 100% of the job
We make the introduction and step aside. We never take a percentage of what you quote, invoice, or collect.
Rent it and take the whole market
Once you rent, every request this site produces comes to you rather than rotating around other crews. No waiting your turn, no wondering who else got the good month.
Work that repeats
A mitigation install is a clearance test, a fan in five to ten years, a re-test every two, and a referral to the neighbour who now wants their own number. This is not a one-and-done trade.
What we check
We verify you before you go live.
- Your NJDEP certification as a radon mitigation business is active, and affiliated with a certified radon mitigation specialist — we record the date we checked
- For testing leads: NJDEP certification as a radon measurement business specifically. Measurement and mitigation are separate certifications and we do not route measurement work to a mitigation-only crew
- A current certificate of insurance, with policy number and expiry
- Workers' compensation coverage, or documentation of exemption
- New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor registration where the work you take on requires it
- For schools, child-care, multi-family and commercial work: demonstrated experience on buildings with mechanical ventilation

What this arrangement is — plainly.
So there is no confusion before you apply. This holds on either model:
- This is a marketing and lead-referral arrangement. We generate and refer leads; we do not guarantee any number of leads in a month.
- Lead volume varies and search rankings fluctuate. Radon demand is also seasonal — it tracks the housing market and the heating season.
- Any job, quote, contract, price, warranty, and dispute is strictly between you and the customer. We are not a party to it and take no cut.
- This site and its domain remain owned and operated by Swell Ventures LLC. The proving run is free, and after it you pay a flat monthly rate for exclusive referral. Either way you are paying for leads, not buying the site.
- We are not a certified radon business and we perform no testing, design, or installation. Every certification obligation for the work sits with you.
Straight answers
Questions crews ask.
What does it cost?
Nothing to start. Your first 30 days are a free proving run — up to 10 real leads at no charge, nothing signed. After that, one flat monthly rate covers every lead the site generates, with no per-lead charges on top. The rate is quoted at the end of your run against what the site actually produced for you, and you can cancel any month.
What happens after the free run?
We look at what the site sent you over the 30 days and what those jobs were worth. If it earned its keep, we quote a flat monthly rate for your service area and you rent the site — every qualified lead routes to you and no one else, full details instantly, your own private lead bank. If it did not produce, there is nothing to quote and we will tell you so. The arithmetic is here →
Do I need to be NJDEP-certified to join?
Yes, and it is not negotiable. Testing for radon or installing mitigation for a fee in New Jersey requires certification under N.J.A.C. 7:28-27, and we verify it on the register before you receive anything. If you hold mitigation certification only, we route mitigation work to you and not measurement work — and vice versa.
How do I know renting is worth it?
You will already know, because you will have run the site for 30 days before anyone quotes you a number. That is the entire point of doing it in this order: the rate is argued against leads you have actually received, not a forecast. Judging it stays arithmetic — divide the monthly rate by what a lead is worth to you and that is your break-even. If your volume is not there, putting you on a rate you cannot fill is how we would lose you, so we will say so.
Am I locked in once I rent?
No. It is month to month, with no setup fee, no minimum term and no penalty for stopping — just tell us. Some crews rent through the spring selling season and pause when it quiets down; there is no re-application to come back.
How do I get the leads?
Straight to you the moment a request is submitted — with full contact details, the foundation type, and the reading if they had one. Once you are set up you also have a private lead bank where every lead waits for you to work.
Are there other crews competing for these?
Once you rent, no — you are the only radon business we refer anywhere across Hunterdon County, and we do not sell the same homeowner twice. During a free proving run we may have more than one crew trialling the site, so calling quickly still matters. Renting is what ends that for good.
How many leads will I get?
It varies month to month and we do not guarantee a number — this is marketing, search traffic moves, and radon demand tracks the housing market. The proving run is capped at about 10 leads rather than a fixed calendar window, so every crew gets the same proof rather than whatever that month happened to produce. Once you rent the site, every lead it produces goes to you and no one else.
Do you take a cut of the job?
No. Whatever you quote and collect is entirely yours, on either model. We charge for leads — never a percentage of the work.
I only do testing / I only do installs. Is that fine?
Yes, and the system is built for it. You pick your certifications, services and towns when you apply, and you are only matched to work you are certified and insured for.
